Creativity Camps for Children 2008 |

At Mind Over Splatter we believe that children are unique and
special in every way. Our goal is to
provide creative projects through our summer camps that allow boys and girls to
reflect their individuality through their imagination and creativity. We are offering 5 weeks of themed creativity
camps with specific craft projects that tie directly to each of the
themes. Each camp takes place on 2 days
during each week, with each daily session being 3 hours in duration. The cost per child for each week of camp is
$90.00.
This fee
covers all materials, instruction and loads of fun!
Week One:
My Space - Create personal items
for your space!
June 10thth & June 12th
(Tues & Thurs):
Have fun creating: a pencil holder, a dinner plate and placemat,
a mosaic picture frame, a toothbrush holder, a door sign, a switchplate
for your room and a tie-dye pillowcase!
Week Two: Down By the Sea - Make fun Aquatic Creations
June 16th & June 18th
(Mon & Wed):
Have fun creating: a dolphin suncatcher,
a mosaic sun trivet, sea animals, sand art, a whale mug, a dolphin backpack
hook, an ocean magnet set and a tie-dye tank top!
Week Three: Sports Week - Make creations relating to sports of all kinds!
June 24th & June 26th (Tues &
Thurs):
Have fun creating: a ceramic sports bank, a sports box, a mosaic
picture frame, a pennant for your #1 team, a canvas drawstring bag, a visor, a
trophy pencil holder and a sports magnet set.
Week Four:
Goin’ on a Safari – Join us on a Safari of Creativity!
July 7th & July 9th (Mon & Wed):
Have fun creating: a safari hat, tie-dye T-shirts, wooden wiggly
snakes, safari animals, a photo block, mosaic wild animals, a Hum-V, and a
safari magnet set.
Week Five: Pirates & Princesses – Make amazing creations for Pirates & Princesses!
July 15th & 17th
(Tues & Thurs):
Pirates Have fun
creating:
a mosaic sword, a personalized shield, a ceramic treasure box bank, a skull
box, a pirate hat, a skull cup, a stone name plaque, and a set of magnets.
Princesses Have fun
creating:
a mosaic crown, a personalized crown plaque. a
princess tiara, a magic wand, a unicorn bank, a goblet, a princess mirror, and
a set of magnets.
